About the Awards

The Scottish Nature Photography Awards celebrate nature, wildlife and landcape photography in Scotland.

The Scottish Nature Photography Awards Photographic Competition was launched in 2010 to provide a platform to celebrate Scotland as a key destination for nature photographers and to acknowledge the excellence of the photographic work that is undertaken here through the award of the title of "Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year". The annual competition invites entries of images taken in Scotland by professional or amateur photographers from around the world.

The 2016 Photographic Competition is open from 10th September 2016 to 30th November 2016. You can make sure you get the latest news about the competition by registering for our newsletter. Entrants to the competition will receive this automatically along with competition administration updates. We value your privacy and do not pass your details to third parties.
