About the Competition
The main Photographic Competition was launched in April 2010. This competition consists of four nature, landscape and wildlife categories and is for images taken in Scotland by professional, semi-professional or amateur photographers. Have a look at the categories page for more information.
We will be adding more information to the website as we go, so you can get the latest news by registering your details in the member register page. You will also be able to see up to date information on the free online votes e.g. the results of the Favourite Nature Photographer competition. Simply log in to the website and we will keep you posted. Entrants to the competition will automatically be updated with news, as well as any special offers!
Competition Timetable
The competition is open from the 9th April and runs to the 30th November 2010 for all entries. No entries after this date will be accepted. Late posted entries with a post date of 30/11/10 or before will be accepted.
Photographers shortlisted will be notified in January 2011. If we have not contacted you by this time, you have been unsuccessful in being shortlisted. The shortlist is the top 10 images in each category. The category winners will be announced in March 2011.
Competition
Fees
You can enter as many categories as you like. Each category entry includes 1 image. You can also enter extra images.
We have kept the entry fees as low as possible whilst still helping to cover the costs associated with organizing and running the competition, the website, and the exhibition tour.
Entry to each category is £5.00. This automatically includes 1 image entry.
If you wish to enter more images, the additional fees are as follows:
Up to 4 extra images £6.00
Up to 6 extra images £8.00
Up to 12 extra images £12.00
Online entries can be paid for via Paypal using your debit or credit card. Postal entries must be sent with a cheque made payable to “N & J Irvine”.
