Welcome
Photographers
from all over the world are drawn to and inspired by Scotland's landscape and
natural heritage. We'd like to take the opportunity to celebrate this by means
of a series of awards and competitions - the Scottish Nature Photography Awards. We
are running a rolling programme of free online nominations and votes on different
photographic themes. We started in September 2009 with "Favourite Nature
Photographer". A two-stage nomination and voting process, this was an opportunity
to win in our free prize draws and to acknowledge the nature and landscape photographers
who have inspired and enthused you. See below for the results of the Favourite
Nature Photographer. Our main Photographic
Competition launched on 9th April 2010 and is now open
for entries. This competition consists of four nature, landscape and wildlife
categories and is for images taken in Scotland by professional, semi-professional
or amateur photographers. Register
now for news and updates. Favourite

"Thank you very much.
I'm very happy on winning the Scottish Nature Photography Awards "Favourite
Nature Photographer". From the start of the competition I was receiving E-mails
from all over the UK and USA telling me that they had voted for me - a big thanks
to them all. This has also opened new doors for my wildlife photography work and
thanks for the 12 year old Glenlivet." Dean Bricknell www.deanbricknellphotography.com
Congratulations
to the winners of the two prize draws for the nomination and voting
stages. Alan Kinroy and James E Austin both win a bottle of 12 year
old single malt whisky, kindly donated by The
Glenlivet.
