enter any, or all, of the 5 categories. Each category entry automatically includes
1 image entry. You can then enter up to a further 25 images, which you can enter

Junior Scottish Nature Photographer
of the Year section: Junior entrants may submit up to 5 images, each of
which may be on any Scottish nature subject.
Scottish Nature Photography
Awards reserves the right to remove any entries from the Competition that it feels
may breach or contravene laws of copyright, public decency or may bring the Competition
or the Competitions organisers into disrepute. Such entries will be deemed
as void and no refund will be given.
Payments
and refunds All entries must be accompanied by full payment (debit
or credit card processing via Paypal for online entries, cheque for postal entries)
as detailed in the Competition FAQs.
You have the right to cancel within seven days of payment. If you cancel
your entry, your payment will be returned in full and your image(s) deleted. To
request a refund, please complete the contact form, selecting refund.
Images
cannot be withdrawn after the closing date unless the organizers are notified
of a permissions problem, in which case the images will be withdrawn on request
of the copyright holder. No refund will be payable on images withdrawn, except
within the seven day period from payment under your right to cancel.
If
you submit fewer images than originally paid for then you will not be entitled
to a refund.
If you feel you are entitled to a refund (other than by invoking
your right to cancel within 7 days), you may request this by contacting us. We
review all refund requests on a case-by-case basis and reserve the right to decline
any refund for any reason. Judging A
panel of judges will assess all entries and a shortlist will be drawn up in January
2012. All those on the shortlist will be contacted by email to supply a high-resolution
file (minimum A3 300dpi, or minimum A4 300dpi for the Junior section) for final
judging, along with detailed caption information. Failure to produce a high-resolution
file of the correct size within the designated time period will eliminate an entrant
from the shortlist. The organisers cannot be held responsible for emails that
do not arrive e.g. due to the entrants email security settings or restrictions
placed by their Internet service provider. In the event that the high-resolution
file submitted for a shortlisted image does not meet the technical standard required
by the judges, the image may be eliminated from the shortlist. All winners will
be notified in writing. A list of the winners will be published on the Scottish
Nature Photography Awards website.
The Judging Panels decision will
be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
