The Awards
Scottish
Nature Photography Award Winners 2010 There
will be 4 category winners and the winning images from each category will then
be judged again.
The overall winner will then be announced as the
Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year. The winner will receive the glass
award for category and overall winner and an exclusive one to one workshop
day with award winning wildlife photographer and competition judge, Neil
McIntyre (sponsored by Perspectives) To accompany the workshop prize in Aviemore,
The Macdonald Aviemore Resort is sponsoring 1 night's stay for 2 people
(can be double or twin room) at the 4* Highlands Hotel. The prize includes Dinner,
bed and breakfast for 2 guests and full use of the resort leisure facilities.
The overall winner will also win
a £250 gift voucher for Calumet (sponsored by Calumet Photographic)
and Lowepro Rucksac (Sponsored by The Camera Shop, Perth) and a £300
gift voucher for Stealth-Gear Clothing (Sponsored by Stealth-Gear)

The
category winners
Each of the 4 category
winners will receive an individual engraved glass award. The
category winners will also each receive a 30" x 20" Giclée
print of their winning image (Sponsored by Giclée Uk Ltd) and 4
specially selected landscape and nature books (Sponsored by Birlinn). The
books are - "Journeys In The Wilderness" - John Muir, "Wild
Land : Images From The Cairngorms" - Mark Hamblin & Peter Cairns, "A
Sense of Belonging to Scotland - The Complete Collection" - Andy Hall, &
"Up River - The Song of The Esk" - Darren Woodhead. On top of that,
the category winners will also each receive a gift bag containing, memory
